1. Problem Statement

After working with foundational time expressions and everyday topics, learners need to distinguish between language structures according to context. A single familiar verb form is no longer enough for describing actions that are happening now, occur regularly, or have already been completed. Longer reading passages also introduce more connections between sentences, pronouns, and details that need to be considered together. Learners may find it difficult to maintain logical structure in their own responses when grammar topics are studied separately. At this stage, grammar is more useful when practised inside complete learning situations rather than as isolated rules.

2. Solution

Cipher Module combines grammar topics with thematic vocabulary, reading, and practice in building connected responses. Learners compare different time patterns and work with pronouns, adjectives, linking words, and structures for expressing cause and sequence. Each topic is introduced through examples, small texts, and situational activities. Some exercises focus on contextual analysis, asking learners to select an appropriate structure and interpret the meaning of a sentence. The concluding part of the course brings several grammar and vocabulary topics together in combined activities.

Practical Course Markers

During the activities, learners work with texts of approximately 8–12 sentences and answer questions based on their content. Some exercises involve comparing two grammar structures and selecting the one that matches the surrounding context. Learners write short responses of approximately 4–6 connected sentences and expand dialogues with their own lines. The course also includes activities focused on identifying and correcting common grammar errors. The concluding section combines vocabulary, grammar, reading, and written practice within one learning cycle.
